My name is Ella. And I am a recovered procrastinator.
For over 20 years, I built a career in marketing, working with tech companies. A few years ago, I was running my own agency—industry awards, high-profile clients, parties, business trips…
And then? The classic pack for an ambitious woman in the creative industry: anxiety, overload, sleep disorder, attention problems. Procrastination became my way of life. And on top of that—a constant sense of guilt for missed deadlines and disappointed clients.
Well, I could teach time management workshops, but productivity hacks couldn't help me calm down, focus, and get sh!t done. I started turning down projects. Clients left. And then, I fully burned out.
In 2019, I moved to Prague and started rebuilding myself. I trained in theology, depth psychology, behavioral coaching, and more. Now, I’m writing a PhD in theoretical biology at Charles University, completing a degree in theology, continuing Jungian analysis studies, and still taking on a few marketing projects.
And guess what question I hear all the time? "How do you manage to keep up with everything and not go crazy?" Well, this series might just have part of the answer.
